- By joining us as a financial member you are making a good contribution to landcare in our district as we rely on membership subscriptions to maintain our organisation. The more members we have the stronger is our voice and the more likely we are to succeed with funding applications.
- You will be notified of upcoming events - field days, farm walks, information sessions and workshops. These events are a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn from the presenters and from the experiences of others.
- You could join us at some of our working bees. These are fun events involving a few hours’ work followed by lunch or morning tea. They are held quarterly at one of our public planting sites –Barbour Park in Gunning, the Dalton School Bush Block or the Oolong Creek site at Dalton.
- Do you like splashing around in water? We are encouraging people to use the GDL fish traps to survey our creeks and dams to see what species might be found. We can provide guidance on the safe and effective use of traps and provide fish and frog ID guides. If you are interested contact Brett.
- You will be notified about funding opportunities and receive assistance with funding applications.
- We have a range of tools and equipment available to members. Our policy for almost all items is that they are free for use by members on their own projects and for community field days. A $50 deposit, refundable on safe return of items, is required. These items are not available for commercial use. Contact our Equipment Officer, Janet Heffernan.
GDL membership subscriptions are $33 pa [includes GST] per family. If you would like a subscription invoice, please contact Treasurer Brett or pick one up from Helen.
